Schofield Media to Debut North American Design

Chicago (June 25, 2008) – Chicago-based B2B publisher Schofield Media will relaunch Furniture & Interiors magazine (F&I) as North American Design, beginning with its fall 2008 issue. The quarterly magazine’s contents will be written to appeal to architects, interior designers, design/build contractors, and furniture and furnishings companies.

“Every issue will contain original editorial from our in-house editors and expert contributors to help our readers prosper in today’s environment,” said John Krukowski, editorial director. “We will use a mix of case studies, company/project profiles and designer spotlights to highlight the industry’s best practices.”

North American Design will replace the four-year-old F&I. “The new title reflects North American Design’s broad appeal across the design profession,” commented Jason Quan, vice president of editorial research. “We want North American Design to showcase the most exciting developments for architects, interior designers, design/build contractors, and furniture and furnishings companies. We call these the Four Pillars of North American Design.”

The new magazine will debut in September.
